Depends on what sort of escort you use. If you fly this new ship next to a freighter that's fully loaded with plex, I'd bet that you get left alone.

Scouting and web warping. 
Depending on the size of gank force, maybe killing of enough for concord to arrive before the target dies.
 Suicide ganking or counter bumping the bumper ship. 
Admittedly, only the 2 in the first line are even close to regularly viable.

I can confirm. I've done this dozens of times in an itty V. Not a single shot or even a lock. Even when I announced what I was doing in local.
